The 93rd Georgia Public Health Association (GPHA) Annual Meeting and Conference theme was “Creating a Healthy Georgia: Conversation and Collaborations for Change.” When creating the brandmark, I wanted to incorporate a coastal feel to represent the location of the conference, which was held on Jekyll Island, located within the Golden Isles of Georgia.

The logo features the outline of the state of Georgia with a heart-shaped conversation bubble emerging from it, symbolizing compassionate dialogue and collaborative efforts in public health. Quotation marks within the bubble further emphasize the importance of conversations.

The coastal-inspired color palette, reflecting the serene and natural beauty of Jekyll Island, ties the design to the conference location, creating a cohesive and meaningful visual identity for the event.
