As part of a class assignment, I was tasked with creating a brand identity for a unique event.
I chose to design the Columbus Avenue Coffee Crawl, a curated event that highlights the vibrant coffee culture along San Francisco's iconic Columbus Avenue. The event celebrates the neighborhood's Victorian heritage, seamlessly blending historical charm with contemporary coffee culture to create a unique and engaging experience.
The brand identity of the Columbus Avenue Coffee Crawl draws inspiration from Victorian posters, known for their intricate designs and ornate typography. The visual identity features a sophisticated color palette with deep hues like espresso brown, cream, gold, and accents of light teal, muted kelly green, and bright red.
Participants would download an app on their phone that features an interactive map and a list of the participating coffee shops along Columbus Avenue. Users will also be able to view each shop’s menu and website prior to arriving.
